Light stabilizer is an additive for polymer products (such as plastic, rubber, paint, synthetic fiber), which can block or absorb the energy of ultraviolet rays, quench singlet oxygen and decompose hydroperoxide into inactive substances, etc., so that polymer can eliminate or slow down the possibility of photochemical reaction and prevent or delay the process of photoaging under the radiation of light, thus achieving the purpose of prolonging the service life of polymer products.
