It is used to produce weak acid yellow 6G, weak acid bright yellow 5G, sulfur dark blue 3R, sulfur blue CV, sulfur blue FBL, sulfur brilliant green GB, Sulfur Red Brown B3R, Sulfur Reduction Black CLG, Fur Dyestuff Fur Brown P, etc. In the pharmaceutical industry, it is used to manufacture paracetamol, antagon and other drugs. In addition, it is used as an analytical reagent to test gold, determine copper, iron, magnesium, vanadium, nitrite and cyanate.
