Antioxidants (ko masu daidaita zafi) ƙari ne da ake amfani da su don hana ko jinkirta lalacewar polymers saboda iskar oxygen ko ozone a cikin sararin samaniya. Su ne ƙarin da aka fi amfani da su a cikin kayan polymer. Rufin zai fuskanci lalacewar iskar shaka bayan an gasa shi a yanayin zafi mai yawa ko kuma a fallasa shi ga hasken rana.
